The first Coaches' Poll of the 2006 season is out, and Ohio State and Texas are ranked one-two. That seems to be the consensus, even though the Buckeyes have to replace almost their entire defense, and the Longhorns have to go without Vince Young. The schools play each other in week 2 at Austin. SC and Notre Dame are tied for third, and of course, play at the Coliseum at season's end. CAL is eleventh.
