First, let me say that the only schools that truly deserve to be in the tourney are the conference champions. It is hard to sympathize with Texas Tech losing four more games than it won in the Big-12 being "snubbed", or Boston College getting shafted after it played a soft schedule. But still, Alabama getting in is a joke; essentially, the selection committee decreed that any school ever ranked No. 1 during the season would get a pass, no matter how mediocre it played down the stretch.
